New wheels, 18x8, +48mm

235/40?, 225/40?

Id like to run the 235's but Im worried about rubbing. Ideally Id like to run these without spacers
or having to roll fenders.

Will 235/40 fit a stock 2005 Legacy GT Wagon? What about with a slight drop?

That's exactly what I was running on my LGT... 18x8 +48mm, with 235-40-18 tires and no rubbing, and I was dropped about 20-25mm, roughly 1inch.
