Thanks - I have looked at that one several times, but I am apprehensive about all of the modifications. With all of those mods, $19,000 is very inexpensive. It makes me cautious...but I will continue to think about it. Meanwhile I will ask my wife to translate the thread. I would like to be able to clearly understand what everyone is saying.

Low mileage, not a VGA, and mint condition.

@ 19k, you can only get yourself either a VGA, or a very high mileage WRX.

Thanks for the feedback! You may be right. That is precisely why I am apprehensive; if that car is worth "much more than $19K" why is he asking only $19K for it?

And please forgive my ignorance, but I do not recognize the letters "VGA". Please enlighten me.

VGA is a french accronym that means *V*éhicule *G*ravement *A*ccidenté. It implies that the vehicule was wrench and the insurance company decided to not repair the car and sold as a body for parts. To resell such a car it must be inspected by the SAAQ (you know this one?) In principe, good car can be found, but it's hard to really know the shape of the car... Worst than hight millage if you ask me....
