Pare-brise CRACK! HELP!!

Sorry guys...I'll have to do this one in angalis...SVP AIDE MOI!!

I have a BIG CRACK in my windshield!!! I called my insurance, but thet dont cover it (my deductible is $1000 ) and its not covered under warranty

I called Vitr-Plus, and they quoted me $400. But they said I DO NOT need a new moulding...is that true? I hear you need a new moulding when you replace the windshield.

Also, is it better to get a used windshield from the scrap yard? Can you do it yourself?

Where is a good place to go? Any good places in Laval?

i had to change mine
cost me 350 if i remember well at lebeau

and they didnt used a new molding, they used the one that was on the car, just removed it, put the new windshield, ome glue and replace the molding, as for getting one from a scrapyard, not quite sure about that option, but you can always have a look, but im not sure you can do that yourself
