The current EZ30-R is definatly not a pile... 250hp from a 3.0 is pretty damn good. And these motors are not having any mechanical issues (chain guides get noisy, but thats it). The EG33's have always have issues with front engine seals going out...


Well like i said. stock they are fine but boosted they are not. If you have ever seen one apart there is a noticable difference between the old eg33 and the new ez30 motors. ez30 motors have NO cylinder support. everyone I can think of that has turboed them has destoryed them. The Perrin car alone is on its 3rd motor. and that one has crazy sleeves in it because the last leaves were still not supportive enough. It also has never seen longevity. No one has successfully made great power off of this motor. Even with loads of money into the motor. Unless you break into the 800Whp range it was not worth it. On top of that the compact nature of the new h6 makes the heads even smaller. So the ports are very small and can't be enlarged out car enough to flow lots of air through them.

To me the motor look very similar to a honda motor but with smaller sleeving and support. But of course honda motors have good heads.

The fastest subaru in the world went with the eg33 over the ez30 for a reason. It has nothing to do with money

c'est pas pour faire chier mais plutot pour etre au courant!

mais il y a plusieurs built environ 300hp turbo et c'est solide en masse avec un ez30!
