Rallye Perce Neige 2011 - Besoin de bénévoles!

Only 5 weeks until Rallye Perce Neige is happening and we need your help. We're currently putting together teams of marshals and we still need plenty of controllers and security marshals.

The Rallye PN will be taking place in Maniwaki (as per the usual) on Feb 4th and 5th. The workers meeting will take place Friday evening (Feb 4) and the rally starts on Saturday morning.

If you're available and wanting to volunteer please let us know. As we continue to move forward with plans we'll be getting back to you everyone with more details.

We just got back form Maniwaki last night after driving all the stages Saturday and Sunday morning. Some of the roads are absolutely awesome. One wasn't plowed but we drove through it anyways... 8" of snow, up over the hood, broken bumper... but we made it through. The roads were washed out in a few places and we have to find logs to plug up the holes so I could get the car across, but all in all it was good fun.

We still need plenty of works though. Timing, security, spectator supervisors, etc. Currently we only have about half as many volunteers as we'll need. If you're thinking about it, don't hesitate!
