Found some nice bronze Enkei RS7, in 17x7 5x100 with a +42 offset.
Normally the offset for a 7 width is + 50-53 mm.
Does anyone know if I can put some 225/45/17 on these rims without problems. (2004 impreza sedan)
Thanks for your help

I had +35 with 7.5" width on my sedan, so I think it will be fine for you...

Kolia maybe the Prodrive spring make the rub... but to help this guy, I think there is no problem, maybe someone else can confirm...

I agree.
It shouldn't be an issue. Even if it did touch, it would be minimal and quite "livable".

Thanks alot for your help, my car isn't dropped yet, so for the moment everything should be OK. Even when I change my suspension, I won't be going for a big drop, just something to stiffen and get rid of the front gap, maybe 1.3 front and 1.0 rear.
Really looking forward to getting the new wheels.
Thanks again

I wouldn't run 225 on 7" wide wheels.
Not enough rim for the tires. The tires will roll on the wheels.
215 would be the sane limit with 7".
FWI, I used 205 Azenis on +40mm wheels without any issue on a wagon. These tires where wider then my 215 Kumho 712.
Cheers,
Phil =)

Put the new wheels on this weekend. Put some yoko ES100's 225/45/17 and they fit perfectly, no rubbing or anything.

Unfortunately, the wheels are currently sitting on the bolts

, would much rather they be sitting on the hub, so am looking for some centering rings. Anyone know a place on the west island where I can pick some up.
Thanks
