Selon moi, son G-Tech lit trop haut partout, mais ça donne une idée.The WRX on its OEM RE-92 tires usually gets skidpad ratings around .85, give or take a few hundredths.
The first handling change I made to my wagon was a set of Falken Azenis Sport RT-215 tires in 205/55-16 (the stock size) on the stock rims. Using a G-Tech Comp meter, I was able to light up the cornering lights completely solid, with the upper limit .96G. This means cornering force was .96G or higher. They blink faster and faster as you approach the limit, and they were lit up solid for ~1 second as I applied power at the apex of a ~48 mph hairpin. The yellow sign showed a 90 degree arrow symbol and said 20 mph.
Later, a set of 17" Toyo T1-S tires tested the same way showed solid at .93G, but the lights never stopped blinking when set to .94. Still, .93G is a lot of grip from a stock vehicle. So to answer your question with one word: Yes.
