The (very painful) break in period has began. I have an appointment to tune it next Thursday. Ill have racked up a little over 2k by then(taking a trip to Toronto). Hopefully I can get about 425 to 430hp at 23psi.

How much did it cost for the tail lights overlays ? I'm thinking about it too !

Nice projet, i got a STI 2009 and i am interested by your first mod the reprogramation with an ecutek and new turboback but i wonder how much it cost ya.

Cause i also feel that at high rev the car is dying too fast. My last car what reving 8.300rpm and i miss this feeling.

So well if someone else have a suggestion on how to make this car rev higher i am interested. And by reading your post i just realize i need to go change my oil this week i drove 5K (doing Quebec-NY alone was 2K) so it time to change oil!!

inteljoc, It was $200 but they really work for it. These things are not easy to put on.

bernigts, It's not cheap. Ecutek is $1250 and the turbo back was like $1600 I believe. The car really won't be the same after that though. If you go that far I suggest also doing headers and up-pipe. That's when the car feels the best. I sometimes wish I would have stopped there. I had 361hp on those mods and the car was responsive all around.

modding is almost as bad as heroine...

I hope they solved the alarm crossing issue. i'm sorry i missed your car on the dyno. wanted to hear that beast!

Heroine...tell me about it..

Yup the alarm problem was solved but now I have a new one. They think it's the fuel pressure regulator. Ill find out for sure tomorrow. My car didn't go onto the dyno for any "real" tuning that day. It only got tuned for the break in period. The real tune is going to happen sometime next week.

The car is getting tuned on Thursday. Ill let you know after that. Right now the car isn't burning much but I'm also driving like a granny.
